Google Drive のアプリケーションは Windows と Mac 版があるが Linux 版がない。
Ubuntu 用として overGrive があり最近アップデートされ安定に動くようになった。この事情は Ubuntu 日本語フォーラムの "Grive and Grive Toolsについて( Google Drive ) " に載っている。
最近 overGrive のホームページに Raspbberry Pi の OS Raspbian にも対応していることを見つけた。早速インストールを試みたところ成功したのでここに書き留めることにした。
overGrive の設定方法
overGrive - Raspberry Pi Raspbian Installation Instructions に従って、次のコマンドでインストールできた。
$ sudo apt-get install gir1.2-appindicator3-0.1 indicator-application \
libappindicator1 libappindicator3-1 libdbusmenu-glib4 libdbusmenu-gtk3-4 \
libdbusmenu-gtk4 libindicator3-7 libindicator7 libnotify-bin lsb-release \
python-pip python-pkg-resources python-pyinotify python-setuptools
$ sudo dpkg -i overgrive_3.0_all.deb
$ sudo apt-get install -f

- First Sync
Google Drive に入っているデータ量に依存するが、最初の同期に時間がかかることに注意を払う必要がある。
前もってGoogle Drive のゴミ箱は完全削除しておくとよい。
Google Drive フォルダーが作成される。
